Original Funky Folk Art Cat Mask Scrap Pile Assemblage by Schuyler Rain. This scrap wood wall mask is made from cedar cutout scraps. It is an original one of a kind design by me. Our pile of scrap pieces called to me to make something funky. I used various assorted shapes to create this cat face. I painted this Cool Mask in Magenta and Fuchsia. This cool cat has painted on Lime Green and Dark Green stripes. The sculptural green cat eyes are glaring at you as if to say, "come and play!". This feline creature has raised eyebrows, a unique nose and toothy grin. The grain of the wood can be seen through the paint giving it an earthy feel. This Funky Folk Art Wall Mask measures 19 3/4" tall by 12 1/2" wide and 1" thick. I sealed him with a protective water based sealer, signed, numbered and dated him on the back.
