Primitive native American folk art Painting "Wolves and owl, the moon watchers" By Schuyler Rain. I painted a vibrant scene on a piece of salvaged 3/4" thick plywood. I painted a hillside moonrise in the background in shades of bright green, foggy blue, and sky red. White clouds move across the moon while a wise green owl wakes up from a long nap and a pair of orange wolves wander the hills.

Primitive native American folk art Painting "Wolves and owl, the moon watchers" By Schuyler Rain. I painted a vibrant night scene on a piece of salvaged 3/4" thick plywood. I painted a hillside moonrise in the background in shades of bright green, foggy blue, and sky red. White clouds move across the moon while a wise green owl wakes up from a long nap and a pair of orange wolves wander the hills. The salvaged plywood board has a lot of character from it's original use as a shed roof, the texture of the board adds a great organic feel to the background. In native American culture, the wolf is a symbol of loyalty, friendliness, strength, and intelligence. The owl is a symbol of wisdom, foresight, and Protection. The sides of the panel have been painted black to add a finished framed look. This native American folk art Painting measures 18 1/8" wide and 13 1/4" tall and 3/4" thick. The back has a keyhole slot hanger cut into it, so it's ready to hang flush against your wall. I retain all copyrights. Sky Rain. This is a one of a kind item, The item shown is the item you get.
